Zelma's Mothership

"An intense love story mixed lovingly with Fantasy. Beautifully presented... (it) certainty is weaving in willow threads and lines of her drawings" - Lynn Sweat
The Movie
This website introduces a story based on my life. I am seeking collaborators- writers, film makers and others who see the possibilities of turning this comedy/drama/redemption tale into a movie or TV series. It was developed for the National Religious Broadcasters convention's pitch-a-thon, February 2018

My Story
This is the story of Zeah, a young and impressionable bride who marries and older hippie, Joe, and embraces his new age lifestyle. As she adopts her husband’s world of spirit guides and celestial beings, she develops a rich fantasy life of her own. Soon she is channeling her own spirit guide, Commander Masser, who promises to take her and Joe aboard his spacecraft for a trip around the galaxy. Zeah neglects her household duties, devoting every spare minute to channeling and creating oversize works of art depicting spacecraft. The family is drawn ever deeper into the alternate realities of the new age. At times it seems that only the three children have anything like a firm grip on reality. The story ends with Zeah’s remarkable transformation out of the new age lifestyle and into Christianity.

The story is available now, read by Zelma, on YouTube. Find out more on Zelma's YouTube page.
The events depicted in this story are mostly factual, given that the overall “group think“ mentality is delusional. Nora’s fantasy sequences are embellished for dramatic effect. Zelma has documented these events with 76 cassette tapes of Dawa’s (our spiritual guru) workshops, 70 notebooks of channeled information, space travel outfits, 100 large drawings, a thirty foot, five panel canvas mural depicting the Mothership, 54 pieces of original of music, and numerous photos. Also by laws for a foundation, a channeled book manuscript, and new age newsletters.
